A new headquarters to celebrate VidiVici Occhiali’s first decade
A new way of conceiving eyewear, identified by the neologism ‘pop couture’, i.e. a refined product with high design content that remains accessible to all; avant-garde design closely linked to current trends — whether cultural, technological, economic or social; feeling like and being a globetrotter; an alternative, groundbreaking communication strategy. All these factors have led to VidiVici Occhiali’s rapid and exemplary expansion, winning the approval of the retail network and the public in just 10 years.

1996-2006. A significant anniversary, marked by the company’s move to a new headquarters at Anzola dell’Emilia. Starting January 2006, the VidiVici HQ is the Tenuta Melloni, a fascinating location dating back to the first half of the 18th century, restored to its antique splendour by a major and detailed restoration of the entire estate, from the magnificent gardens to the elegant interiors with precious stucco work and decorative frescoes. The interior decoration with its contemporary touch is a game of opposites where each element fits in to highlight the period details and enhance the antique solemnity. The modern dialogues with the past in a single combat that brings out the best of both worlds, in a tactile expression of the VidiVici philosophy — re-evaluate one’s artistic and cultural roots and re-read them via new perspectives, spurred on by the desire to daydream and the ability to design. A high-tech and all-enveloping originator’s spirit marks VidiVici Occhiali’s new headquarters, an “ideal choreography” for this enthusiastic Bolognese company, undoubtedly one of the most inspired industrial enterprises in northern Italy.
